Beautiful vintage letterman's jacket applique patch celebrating the British Columbia Junior Woman's Basketball champions of 1964-65. This patch commemorates not just a local conquest, but a CHAMPIONSHIP of all of British Columbia by an unnamed Junior Women's Basketball team in 1964-65.  And, judging by the looks of the Amazon depicted handling the ball they probably could have disturbed a few other levels of competition as well. Appropriately, they played under the L. A. Laker's colors of purple and gold and did them proud! This patch is in very good condition and has never been sewn to anything; not quite mint, but very close.
