A V.I.P. Cranston Print Works Co., Crazy Quilt Santa, cotton fabric panel.
Cranston had mills in North Carolina and Rhode Island. The company closed in 2009.
This unused screen printed panel makes 1 Crazy Quilt Santa either as a bottle cover or as a stuffed soft sculpture. The instructions are for sewing.
The photos are close to the real color but the red is a dark red not the orangey shade the photos show. The changes in the color are not there, it is caused in the picture by the partial white wall behind the fabric. The fabric is a rectangle, any distortion to that shape is either the angle of my clothesline or the fabric is just blowing in the wind. Any discolorations are the fact I take a bad photo.
The piece of fabric measures approximately 44 inches wide x 36 inches long before anything is cut apart or sewn.
***Took me awhile to realize that Santa dangles the Star from a string held by his hands.
The fabric was aired in the Carolina sun.
All fabrics are vintage items and sold AS IS. Although I maintain a smoke free and a pet free studio, I have no control over where items have been previously. I attempt to represent my goods as honestly as possible, but sometimes something will get by. If you have any doubts about an item, E-MAIL ME! I want to make sure that you will be pleased with your purchase.
