Manuka Honey MGO 550+
An exceptional honey with at least 550 mg methylglyoxal / kg. In the remote mountain regions of New Zealand, bees collect the unique nectar of the up to 4 meter high Manuka tree, also known as the South Sea myrtle. Manuka honey gets its name from the indigenous people of New Zealand, the Maori. They have known about the preciousness of honey since the 14th century and have used its advantages. What is unique is the very high concentration of methylglyoxal (MGO) which is only found in such concentrated amounts in Manuka honey. Avitale Manuka honey is first subjected to extensive commercial analysis in New Zealand. The honey is only released for further transport if the values examined at the source already meet the requirements of the German honey regulations. Once here, further complex analyses follow in a laboratory for food and pharmaceutical analysis in Bremen. Only through these tests can the authenticity of the Manuka honey and the promised values on the jars be guaranteed. The results of all batches are documented on the manufacturer's website.
Enjoy 1-2 teaspoons of Avitale Manuka honey every day. Because it is largely insensitive to heat, you can also stir it into hot drinks without hesitation. Avitale stands for maximum transparency. From the beehive to your home.
