not sure what it's for,

it kind of has the shape of a dog dish.

it says Mirro 3qt. the finest aluminum 313M made in USA Trade mark registered.

it measures 7 inches across the bottom and 10 inches across the opening.

it is 3 1/4 inch deep.

It is old but in nice shape.

I really don't know if it is a cake pan, insert for a double boiler, or what.
