DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL MONUMENT

The Death Valley Visitor Center and Museum, operated by the Park Service, is near the area from which the famous 20-mule teams hauled borax. The Museum contains numerous displays which interpret the geology and the natural and human history of the area in Death Valley National Monument. Illustrated programs are given regularly in the Visitor Center Auditorium.
