This is an original 1998 THE SPIRIT POSTER, which is the golden age pulp detective hero that was created by cartoonist Will Eisner. This 1990's poster's artwork comes from the cover of "The Spirit The New Adventures" issue 1 comic book that was published by Kitchen Sink Press in 1998. As you may know, the Spirit is a masked vigilante created in 1940 and was formerly known as police detective Denny Colt until he was presumed murdered.

SIZE: This '98 poster measures about 32 inches by 18 inches, and features art by DAVE GIBBONS, who is also known for his artwork on DC Comics "The Watchmen" comic book series. Pulp and newspaper comic strip fans will like this old poster.

CONDITION NOTES: This Spirit poster has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED before, but please note that it's in fine/very fine condition only, due to some waviness of the paper, and also some minor dings on the edge of the poster. I am 100 percent certain that many other poster sellers and collectors would grade this poster higher, but I prefer to grade more conservatively. T9238
