DETAILS
If you're in need of a complete knob and button set for a GM
truck/SUV/Van CD6 radio in an application listed below, you've come to
the right place. This is a brand new knob and button set. Compatible
radios started appearing in 2003 in full-size trucks/SUVs (and 2005 in
full-size vans and mid-size SUVs.) However, just because your vehicle is a 2003 or newer does NOT mean you should be ordering from this listing. Some vehicles used other styles up to 2004. To
determine if this is the right button set for you, check your radio for
a LOAD CD button in the top right corner. If it has one, check the
volume and tune knobs. If they have ridges, like those in the picture,
and your vehicle is on the Application List below, this set will work
for you. If you have smooth volume and tune knobs, this set will not be
100% correct for you. You will probably still be able to use some of
the parts but we will not guarantee it.
Don't settle for the overlay stickers some sellers are offering. Those look terrible and they don't stay attached for long. Plus they don't allow the light from the button bulbs to shine through them. Our buttons do!
A very small number of radios have a Tune knob that was rotated 45
degrees and the print on this Tune knob will be off-kilter, as a result.
If you want to see if yours has the rotated Tune knob, pull your
existing Tune knob off, along with the white shaft behind it. Then look
at the green socket that is left on the board when you remove the white
shaft. If there is a groove on the inside of the socket at the very
bottom of it, as well as grooves 90 degrees to each direction of the
bottom one, this will work for you. Otherwise you will need to obtain the rotated version of the Tune knob.
Some of these buttons may have slightly different labeling than yours.
Especially those on the bottom row. These are labeled as pictured.
Obviously the print on a button does not affect what it does when you
press it. No one will know what your old buttons used to say. But they
will notice your radio doesn't look like a worn out piece of junk
anymore!
This is for one complete set of knobs and buttons for a GM CD6 radio, as pictured. Our ad is accurate and thorough, so you should be able to tell if you're getting the right thing if you simply read the ad. For this reason, returns are not accepted.
Have burnt out buttons? Do you need a new control display board too? Check out listing 371564602760.
Installation instructions are not included. You shouldn't be repairing a
radio if you're not qualified. Having said that, installation of the
knobs is easy. The old ones pop off if you give them a firm tug. The
buttons, however, require removal of the face and removal of the
control-display board behind the face. Again, you shouldn't be doing this if you're not qualified. Do NOT attempt
to replace any radio parts with the radio still plugged in the vehicle!! Unplug
it and let it sit a minimum of 30 minutes before working on it!

SHIPPING & HANDLING
- Shipping cost is based on weight and zip code. This site does the figuring, not us. If you feel their calculation is high, you might be underestimating the package weight and/or current shipping costs from our zip code (62401) to yours. Please don't ding us for shipping in the ratings, as we have no control over ever-increasing carrier rates.
- We will enter a tracking number into your order details here on the site. They will email it to you if your notification preferences are set correctly.
- A signature is not typically required. If you are not home to receive the package, it will most likely be left at your door. Please monitor it's progress and arrange to collect it when it arrives.
- This site provides a section/tab in each ad for Shipping information. We encourage you to check that section for prices, methods, time-frames, etc.
