Vintage MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGER Shaving Brush
Very cute vintage Mighty Morphin Power Ranger shaving brush originally packaged as part of a children's make believe shaving kit! Compact size, 3 1/2" tall X 1 1/8" diameter. White undeclared bristle.
This brush was obviously a generic item that has been branded with the MMPR logos by way of a teal plastic shrink wrap cover (which has retained its freshness and is wholly intact). Probably could be used to shave for real, but most likely I'm guessing you'll want to display it somewhere amongst your other MMPR mementos, yes?
Honestly, did any of the Power Rangers actually shave? Doubtful. Regardless, MMPR's executive director and creator, Haim Saban, certainly understood marketing and the value of product tie-ins; his name is on this trademarked item, dated 1994. Very early, indeed!

Let's face it: the 30's came in with a whimper and went out (by way of the 40's) with quite a bang. And thus the Boomers were upon the Earth. The number of births in the US nearly doubled during this time and I am one of them who popped out at the very beginning of that Boom.
Naturally, this period is my collecting sweet spot and I want almost everything I see from those times!!! It doesn't matter if it is curated in a vintage shop's window or a crammed into a trashcan, I want it: everything leading into the Mid-Century is a Rosebud to me.
Interestingly, my relatives laughingly blamed Dr. Spock and his 1942 "Baby Book" for all that came next.... Little did they know that he would end up an active anti-war personality and was actually tried, convicted, and sentenced to federal prison for conspiracy issues! But, I digress....
