Crafted with a fineness of 0.900, this 1976 Israeli 25 Lirot coin is a splendid piece of numismatic history.

The coin proudly displays the Star of David, symbolizing the country's rich heritage, and commemorates the 28th anniversary of Israel's independence.

Its 26 grams of 0.900 silver content (0.7524 Oz. ASW) give it a substantial heft, with the color remaining a timeless silver sheen.

Struck in the year 1976, this coin has never been circulated, preserving its original luster and detail.

Though it is uncertified and ungraded, its beauty is evident to the naked eye.

The coin is a product of Israel, adding an authentic touch to any collection.

With its unique denomination and historical significance, it's a standout addition for both seasoned collectors and newcomers to the hobby.

Strength to Israel

כח - The numerical value of the two Hebrew letters making up the word "Koach" meaning "strength" is 28.

It would have been too much to expect that Israel within the span of one generation, would have been able to solve the many problems which other countries had been incapable of solving over many generations. A great gap still existed between the expectations of the founders of the Jewish State and the prevailing social and economic realities.

Nevertheless, the State had demonstrated great capacities in dealing with its domestic and foreign problems, some of them with measurable success.

Israel had absorbed masses of destitute refugees enabling them to start life anew. A neglected land was converted into a verdant one; disease and ignorance were eradicated; a thriving agriculture was developed; new cities were established; sophisticated industries were set up; modern scientific institutions were founded; social welfare was improved. In its many creative endeavors, Israel was serving as a model for other developing nations.
