Vinyl plays with occasional crackles (play-graded). Cover looks great, a few creases near edges; moderate scuffing and some surface impressions and abrasions (front/back); back has slight discoloration with darker spots. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is mostly readable with some wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of use and divots. 1960s pressing with pink label. (Not a cut-out.)
Masterpieces of Russian Church Music is a collection by the Cappella Russian Male Chorus which was organized in 1941 to keep alive the great heritage of Russian choral music. The name was adopted as a tribute to the original Kappella, a choir of fabulous male voices which first presented this unique style of singing in America as a gesture of goodwill from Czar Nicholas II. In addition to a regular schedule of concert appearances, the Chorus broadcasts programs beamed behind the iron curtain by the Voice of America.
