Note: Waul's Legion was a Texas military force that fought for the Confederacy during the American Civil War. Brigadier General Thomas Neville Waul raised the legion in 1862 at the Glenblythe Plantation in Washington County, Texas.The legion was made up of: 12 infantry companies, 6 cavalry companies, and A six-gun battery of artillery. 

Waul's Legion fought in the Battle of Vicksburg as part of Lt. Gen. John C. Pemberton's Army of Mississippi.​
