This vintage Valentine's Day card features the request, "Will you be the mistress of my house?"

And "Best Valentine Wishes".  Design depicts a little boy wearing a sailor hat and holding a heart flag on a pole and a shovel while sitting in the sand with a little girl. Their adorable puppy waits patiently with his ball beside him. "Printed in Germany"

The card is not handmade, but it exudes a nostalgic charm as a non-handmade vintage item from the past.

Overall excellent condition, with perhaps some very slight wear along the very edges? Please see pics.
