Scarce letter for delivery of wagons to Major Barnes from CSA Captain Bleherman??? Blehirsman??? the Assistant Commissary of Subsistence~Signed Captain of the A.C.S.
This Captain indicates he is leaving ( Assumption by Rail) for Shubuta,Mississippi tomorrow ( August 17th). He indicates he would have paid for the wagons himself, but didn't know what the goverment allows?...please send a quarter master to settle with them..."
