• Located in Costilla County, Colorado, the Sanchez Reservoir SWA covers 1,462 acres.
• Public access is restricted to fishing-use only during the summer.
• The reservoir was created in 1912 by constructing an earthen dam.
• Fishing opportunities include walleye, carp, channel catfish, northern pike, perch, white suckers, and more.
• Camping is available along Torcido Creek on the east side of the reservoir.
