Classic Westlock door jamb hardware jig early mid-century era. May not be a "complete" kit (hard to tell because they produced many differing kits), but includes the minimum pieces: cast milled aluminum jig frame, (1") chisel and (2 1/8") hole bits, and latch, strike, and face plate locators. Packed in the original reinforced fiber carry-case with steel corner braces, latches, and a phenolic handle.
RUST WARNING: Frankly I love rusty old things and this carry-case does not disappoint! All the steel reinforcement braces and the latches are functioning but are covered with the rusty patina we all know and may love. And, while we are at it I must say that there is also some surface rust from non-use on the steel bits but should clean up nicely.
At Portland Pandemonium we always have a lot of stuff suitable for the Man's Cave or the Woman's Nook including lots of tools and notions for the creatives amongst us... "Make yourself useful" is what I tell the things I find, often rescuing them from the dump, picking them up along side the road, or worse! The mundane comes alive when you choose vintage over new: Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose, Rinse and Repeat! Put something old and beat up back to work, or just put it on display to let everyone know you appreciate that they really don't make 'em like they used to!
