Introducing our 100% genuine seashells, including the majestic Murex. Murex is a group of medium to large carnivorous tropical sea snails, many of which can be found in the Indo-Pacific intertidal zones among rocks.

Interestingly, the name Murex dates back to ancient Greece, making it one of the oldest shell names still in use today. Certain species of Murex were also used to produce a highly sought-after dye known as "Royal Purple," used for royal and ceremonial robes.

Our collection includes the Hexaplex cichoreum, commonly known as the "endive murex," which is a medium-sized sea snail in the family Muricidae.
