Silvered AE3/BI Follis  c. 3.0 gm 19mm. Heraclea mint, First Officina, struck AD 327-329 under Constantine as Emperor and Constantine II as Caesar (prince). 


Obverse: CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C ~ Unabridged legend: Constantinus Iunior Nobilissimus Caesar. Translation: Constantine II most noble Caesar.  laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine II left, seen from the front.

Reverse: PROVIDENTIAE CAESS (Latin abbreviation: Providentiae duorum Augustorum = "[Dedicated to] the foresight of the Caesars". Campgate, with star between two turrets and open doorway, Pellet • in left field; SMHA in exergue--mint mark=Sacra Moneta Heraclea A Officina (first).

Condition: NGC XF (Extremely Fine) ~ Excellent Eye Appeal! Dark olive brown patina with some original Silvering (especially on rev.) that is toned a golden color, Very attractive coin.
