Here are a pair of Taxco, Mexico sterling silver screw back earrings, design #245, by Los Castillo studio. They are from the collection called "Mosaico Azteca" produced from the 1950's to mid 60's. They all feature inlaid crushed stone pieces in blue and green. Reminds me of Azurite/Malachite but I don't know the actual stones used.
In good condition but are damaged, being sold as is. They are still very wearable and display beautifully. See the photo with the red arrows. It shows where the soldered joint is broken or come away from where originally soldered. Fortunately, the findings are strong and work just fine for wearing. If you notice the findings, the cylindrical part that screws against the ear for wearing are slightly different in size for some reason but again do not affect their use.
They measure about 3/4" wide, 1" tall and 1" deep. Weigh 19.5 grams.
Marks: Stamped "Mosaico Azteca.", has Eagle 15 mark and "Los Castillo, Taxco
