The 1970 “Blue Max” Mustang featured the latest innovations and mechanical and safety design. The Ramchargers Racing Engines hemi that powered the Blue Max was a ‘70 block using the Rams’ custom state of the art bottom end. Accident proof zoomie brackets were among the first of their kind to appear on the scene. The Blue Max’s other features included Aries pistons with triple Dykes rings, Howard rods and cam, Hampton Blower, and the Crager drive system, which was tuned at 31% overdrive and 85% nitro. Mallory SuperMag, Jardine headers and Crowerglide clutch set up completed the mill of the Blue Max super car.

The Blue Max was a favorite of spectators and track promoters alike from the time it exploded onto the scene in 1970, throughout the decade which followed and with some modifications, into the 1980s. With tires smoking and headers blazing, the Blue Max rocketed into history as one of the fastest, most powerful floppers in its class, consistently producing either low ET or top speeds which often exceeded 200 MPH and drawing crowds as easily as it could break records.

This kit is brand new and factory sealed.  The box has some warp.  It comes from a smoke free and pet-free home.
