It is a fine attractant for raccoon, mink, and otter.  It can be added to your baits and lures for extra appeal.  It is a great "trailing scent" for raccoon, mink, and otter.  Just quirt a little away from your set and their nose will do the rest.  Every trapper should have a bottle or 2 of salmon oil on hand.
