Vintage Pre-Owned tested, works and as shown. The hole where the light goes in is a little larger than the bulb from  years of putting the light in and out each season. You just have to get it to set in there just right. We have used it this way for many years with no issues. Great to use on covered porch, on covered deck, in home entrance, foyer, many places but I wouldn't recommend outside without being under cover (at least we never tried to use it outdoors without being under cover). We have always used the orange bulb in it but you can use another color bulb if you want, the orange bulb is included. The electric cord is a newer updated one, my husband got a new cord a couple years ago since the vintage cord was so old. So, the electrical part of it is all updated. That part is detachable as usual with all blow molds.
