Available in this listing is a handcrafted 1960's style Mid-Century Modern Rose-Bud Art Vase with a butter yellow and bright red drip glaze. This is a really nice little vase that would look good sitting pretty on someone’s office desk if they so choose. It doesn’t take up a whole lot of room and your significant other doesn’t have to spend a fortune on a whole bouquet of flowers either. Hey, it’s the thought that counts especially in this economy. Never-the-less, this makes a great collectible with similar items on a shelf.
CONDITION: This Bud Vase measures approximately 7-1/2” inches tall by 1-1/2” inches diameter at the footed base ring and the squatted water portion at the bottom measures about 3-1/2” inches across in diameter that holds the water. It’s in excellent condition, highly glazed showing no chips, cracks, fleabites or crazing and there is no maker’s mark on this piece.
DETAILS: As with all vintage stoneware, ceramic, or porcelain items, there may be pottery irregularities such as, bumps, bubbles, glaze pops, dips and glazing slips, color variations, ink/paint spots under the glaze, mold lines, etc., within or on each piece from the manufacturing process. These are things that happen when pottery is manufactured or fired. However, this does not take away value from the overall purpose and look of these beautiful china pieces. Any chips, cracks, fleabites, scratches and crazing etc., which has happened after the manufacturing of the item, will be described as such in the paragraph above.
FINE PRINT: As with most antique and vintage items I do not clean, polish or in any way change the content of this item due to possibly affecting its original prominence and value. I leave that decision up to the new owner and reselling this item “As Is – As Found”.
And… as with ANY vintage item they have been previously owned so there may be signs of normal wear. Look at pictures carefully to determine item condition for yourself before you purchase
