Saint Francis of Assisi Embracing the Crucified Christ, Murillo Print, Framed Under Glass

This detailed print of one of Bartolome Esteban Murillo's most famous works has garnered me several compliments when it used to hang outside my office. (The original hangs, of course at  the  Museum of Fine Arts of Seville, Spain.)

This print is wonderfully framed in a very enhancing wood frame. There's some light nicks in the frame (that I never bothered to touch up) but believe me they don't make much of a difference. This was an estate find (something I seldom do) but it was worth the sojourn. Another nice thing is the mat; it's double matted with rich classical shades that bring out the best of the print's color scheme.

There's a dust cover on the back, as well; ready to hang from the wire behind it. The overall size is (framed) 18 1/2 inches x 23 inches. The image area within the mat measures 11 1/2 x 15 1/2 inches.

Please do not ask to purchase this unframed, for despite the few abrasions, the frame has character and is perfect for this print.

I suppose Franciscans, both religious and secular would enjoy this on their wall.

• REFUNDS: In general: no fuss, and no problem. Items  must be returned in the original condition within 10 days of receipt. Items that have been removed from their original sealed wrap (CDs, Books, etc that were in blister packs) will be credited at 80 % of item’s price
• LOSSES AND DAMAGE WHILE IN TRANSIT:  We highly recommend insurance and can provide it through Shipsaver and a rate below charged by the postal service. For items over $100.00 we will purchase insurance for you at no cost. You must notify us of any loss immediately however.
• INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: We are very appreciative of our international customers and realize that your costs are higher. We will do our best to help you with that disadvantage, often by discounting the item's price. We will not, however, falsify customs forms by stating that the item you have won is a gift or by stating its value at a fraction of what it really is.
