The 3-strand needle is made to take two or three strands of embroidery floss, size 8 Perle Cotton or Petite "Alpaca". Some overdyed floss will feel stiff and not flow well thru your needle. You can adjust by using 2 strands of floss. It will give your needlework a finer look and actually help those who tend to over-punch.

All CTR Needleworks Punch Needle tools have an all metal design. They have a comfortable handle design which is the size of a pencil and you have the ability to add your favorite foam or plastic grip. Each has a bevel indicator for correct punching direction. They all have pre-cut gauges which come cut and placed on the needle shaft. They do not have interchangeable parts.

They come in a secure and convenient clear plastic storage tube for safe storage and are made in the USA !
