For your consideration, here is a Pair of Ceramic Black and Gold Pistols Desk Top Bookends, made in Japan. They measure 3 1/8 inches tall by 6 1/8 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide. They have Japan written on the ends of them. Here is a hole on the side of each for holding a pen or pencil.
