ANTIQUE CHRISTMAS POSTCARD LUCKY HORSESHOE
FAIR DAYS WRITTEN IN PURPLE VIOLETS AND FESTIVE HOLLY ACCENT
This is most certainly a lucky and lovely addition to your collection. A large horseshoe contains the greeting “Fair Days” written in purple violets. There is a small golden clover in the center and the tips of the horseshoe are also accented in gold. A large embossed branch of red and green holly adds a festive touch. The card is postally used and cancelled at Battle Creek Michigan Dec 25th 1909. (You have to love the post office working on Christmas Day back then!)

Good overall condition however it should be noted there is a slight crease in the bottom right corner (must likely from storage in an old style postcard album) Please have a look at the scans and if you have any questions, just ask.
