For your consideration, here is a Chatillon's No. 2 Balance, Patent dates Jan 6, 1891 and Jun 26 1892, up to 25 pounds.  Note:  It is missing the hook part.  There is a leather cord on it.  It moves fine.  There is rust on the back of it.  Item pictured is the actual item up for sale and comes from a non-smoking household.  (285.805d-.6bb)
