Very heavy making it excellent for rolling out dough, fondant, etc.

Possibly Hand made. I purchased this from an estate sale so do not know the age or history of this rolling pin. 

Great Patina from years of use.  Use marks, dents, and some small cracks along with use marks on the handle shows that someone used this rolling pin a lot.
