Up for sale is a 15" Serving Tray or Platter

(Eagle ) WM Rogers (Star) # 172

The mark on the back of the tray is "Wm. Rogers" 172 surrounded by a star and an eagle, which identifies a Rogers piece made between 1825 and 1841. HOWEVER, this could be done by International Silver as well. (Due to the excellent condition & engraving I tend to believe it was made at a later date.)

In very good condition with 3 small pits as pictured
