Vintage Collector Plate Gold "Mother and Dad" 7 1/2"  Sentiment Nostalgic Nice!

This sweet plate measures: point to point about 7 1/2"  It has a beautiful gold sawtooth embellished edging on the porcelain plate .

The poem reads:

MOTHER AND DAD

"In all the years I've known you both

You planned and strived for me 

Thru sacrifice of everything 

That could be a pleasure be

This token of love I'm sending to you

Just a thought from me."

It is circled with pretty purple flowers 

A few of the letters were smeared in the manufacturing process, this is original, not damaged. Additionally, the sawtooth point at 11 o'clock (diagonally to the left above Mother) appears to have been chipped and repaired during manufacturing with gold paint.  It is still a very lovely plate, perfect to give as a gift and display.
