Bill Traylor Presents Gospel Family Christmas Music Cd
Track list pictured above
Bill Traylor is currently the lead singer with the Homeland Quartet. He moved to Nashville in 1977 to become the lead singer of the musical group, the Downings. After only nine months, he realized that a life on the road was not for him; and in July of 1978, he accepted a position with The Benson Company as a radio promoter for their Southern Gospel label, Heartwarming Records. The label's roster, at that time, included such great artists as the Downings, Speer Family, Rambos, Oak Ridge Boys, and the Kingsmen Quartet. Bill went on to become the founder of Riversong Records and Homeland Records, the recording companies for the Cathedral Quartet, Hoppers, Bishops, Dove Brothers, Gold City Quartet and numerous other major groups in the Southern Gospel genre.
