SUMMARY
This Stunningly Symbolic Lithograph is after Richard Lindner's Art and was used as an affiche to promote the exhibition of his work at Galerie Maeght, Paris from December 1977 to January 1978. This was the last major expo while living, as he passed away in April '78 shortly after.
Lindner was famous for the provocative sexual symbolism in some of his work, and it is interesting to note that he appeared in the second row of The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover, alongside some of the most notorious characters & artists in modern history.
The lithograph is immediately 'ready for framing' and will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity detailing the origins of the item.
