This one is a double treat – not only do you have those purple black stems and veins, this one has a significant yellow aroid flower approximately 12 inches long that smells like papaya!  He can grow to be quite large as well, reaching up to 7 feet, though 5 – 6 feet is a more normal height.  

Hardy in Zone 7 and warmer.  In cooler zones just bring in over the winter and place in a cool basement. 

This beauty likes high filtered sunlight but will also do quite well in full sun.  Need a bog / water plant?  He is happy to live with wet feet or moist soil.

This guy is a fast grower.  You can expect him to reach his full height by the end of the first summer.  His clump will become larger each year.

These plants have been growing in 1 gallon pots and have a healthy mature root system and are at least 40 inches tall.   I will remove their pots, moisture pack them for their time in transit, and possibly cut back some of his leaves to ensure quick establishment in his new home.
