Vintage Crochet Knit Tatting Priscilla Christmas Doilies Hairpin Lace Patterns

This is a vintage 1975 Book No. 197 from Coats & Clark's called Priscilla Doilies - Crochet, Knit, Hairpin Lace and Tatted designs. The booklet measures 5-1/2" x 7-1/2" and contains 35 pages of beautiful doilies and instructions! The book is in very good condition with some shelf wear consistent with age.
 

• Coronet Doily- Doily measures 14-1/2" in diameter. A charming arrangement of crochet clusters forming dainty fan-shaped scallops.
• Moonglow Tatted Doily- Doily measures 15-1/2" in diameter. Loops and whorls of tatted lace give the effect of the ring around the moon on a frosty winter's night.
• Brocade Doily- Doily measures 15" in diameter. Crochet clusters and chains merge into a beautiful pattern.
• Fan-Fare Doily- Doily measures 13" in diameter. The outer ring of crochet shells creates a miniature ruffle.
• Florette Doily- Doily measures 17-1/2" in diameter. Simple crochet stitches form a flower silhouette.
• Helios Doily- Doily measures 19" in diameter. An interpretation of the symbol of the ancient Greek sun-god.
• Garland Rose and Pansy Doilies- Doily measures 14-1/2" in diameter. This is ever popular whirlligig design edged with Irish Crochet roses or appealing pansies.
• Maltese Hairpin Lace Doily- Doily measures 14" in diameter. Hairpin Lace traditionally worked on the Isle of Maltese.
• Holly-day Christmas Doily- Doily measures 16" from point to point. A delightful holiday season doily crocheted in simple stitches, with appliqued leaves and berries.
• Soutache Doily- Doily measures 12-1/2" in diameter. Sculptured shapes reminiscent of old lace.
• Millpond Knitted Doily- Doily measures 19" square from scallop to scallop.
