The Giant Blackberry Butte Seeds are (unstratified) and will need to be refrigerated for the necessary cold term.
It is not conducive for us to start the germination process prior to shipping as many buyers may delay planting the seeds even after they have received their order. It is our experience that a delayed period of time between after stratification and planting may cause the seeds to return to dormancy state. So it is best to only stratify the amount of seeds that you intend to immediately plant.  
For colder regions we recommend direct planting in the ground in the fall. 
However for warmer regions, the use of the refrigerator is necessary to initiate the germination process.
