Best Loved CHINESE BLOCK Quilt  Pattern Flexible Plastic Template

This is a 1993 Best Loved Quilt Pattern called "CHINESE BLOCK". The Chinese Block, which resembles other traditional patterns such as Broken Dishes, was first published in the Kansas City Star, a weekly journal for farmers and their wives, in 1938. The maker of the peach and white beauty show knows this pattern as Pine Burr. By whatever name it is called, this pattern produces a delicate chain effect when the blocks are set on point. The Double Happiness Pattern in the blue quilt is an ancient Chinese symbol often seen on rugs and decorative ceramics. It is especially appropriate when used on an item intended for a gift- it means " May you live a long life and gather many riches".  Finished block size is 10" x 10", peach quilt is 71" x 85"; blue quilt is 54" x 54". Included is a new flexible plastic template and contains complete color photos and directions. This flexible plastic template is not made for rotary cutters. Each pattern is enclosed in a plastic sleeve so you can store your pattern & template.

NOTE!! These are PATTERNS only not the finished product  nor the materials to complete the projects.

My items are shipped from Canada and I use Canada Post - we do not have a media rate or first class shipping as in the US. Canada Post charges by the size and weight of the items. When you receive your parcel, shipping costs do not reflect the 15% HST we have to pay in Nova Scotia on stamps. I do not ship on weekends or holidays as there is no mail service available at Canada Post on these days.

Always happy to combine items when possible to save you on postage. IF YOU PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE ITEM PLEASE WAIT UNTIL I SEND YOU A COMBINED SHIPPING INVOICE BEFORE PAYING. Combined shipping is based on the FINAL WEIGHT of your package - please email me the item numbers if you would like an exact rate for the items you are bidding on. Thanks.
