In the House of Stone & Light by Martin Page Cd

"This is one of my favorite albums. It is a very eclectic collection of lyric content, topic and music style. One song deals with street violence, strife and war in a hopeful way (''Shape the Invisible''). Another song deals with alcoholism and domestic violence and its effect on children (''In My Room''). One deals with genocide (''The Door'') and one with a disintegrating marriage (''Broken Stairway''). But there are songs about love (''I Was Made for You'' and ''Put on Your Red Dress'') and songs about hope (''Keeper of the Flame'' and ''Light in Your Heart'') as well. Sometimes it seems as though these particular songs should hardly be grouped together in the same collection. It is difficult to categorize this album, but the lyrics are meaningful (except for ''Monkey in My Dreams'' in my opinion, which MIGHT have to do with an ''ex'' who won't go away OR whom he might not be able to stop thinking about.) My favorite song of all is the title song ''In the House of Stone and Light.'' Next come ''Light in Your Heart'', ''I Was Made for You'', ''Keeper of the Flame'' and ''Put on Your Red Dress.'' I think that about covers it. LOL Sorry this review is so long"
