This is a sweet little miniature three legged porcelain lidded trinket box or pill box. The lid is decorated with a floral and leaf design with three hand painted flowers or sunflowers and some golden brown trim on each of the legs. It is signed by the artist with the initials PD, in two places, on the inside of the lid and the bottom of the box . The top lifts off to reveal a small storage space for tiny treasures or your most precious possession such as a ring, a lock of hair or even your daily pills. This wonderful little box stands approximately 1 1/2 inches tall and measures 1 3/4 inches wide.

It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. My Mother used to keep a couple of safety pins inside and it sat on her dresser along with her perfume bottles on a mirrored tray. I'm not sure when she purchased it but most likely in the 1960s or 1970s..

This delicate and beautiful ceramic piece would be a lovely addition to any dressing table or vanity or displayed on a shelf or table. A perfect fit for your collection of trinket boxes.
