A beautiful Schimmel like wood carved rooster made in  the best Pennsylvania German tradition by Daniel Strawser in 2001. The carving, which polychrome painted measures ~10 1/2" at its highest and ~8" at its longest with the base measuring ~6 7/8"" by ~2". The piece weighs a little over 1 pound and 1 ounce. It is in excellent condition, with no breaks, cracks, losses, or repairs. It does have some minor scratches, a few minor dings to the surface, and some minor spots of paint loss. These however are minimal and are difficult to see. Other than that the piece is in excellent condition. Please see photos to appreciate beauty and for additional condition information.
