Tested without film.  I put 2 AA batteries in (not included) and the ready light went on and the flash went off when I pushed the button, I wound it and tried it a second time with no problem.  There's a 100/400 switch and the flash slides.  I don't have the instructions.

Any Media Mail items such as books or records can take a few weeks, regardless of any time estimate claims (DVDs and CDs ship first class, unless a set or book that adds to the weight). Also, I make my labels at home, so many times the tracking number will not immediately show any movement until it is in the destination post office or even when it is delivered. I assure you that when a tracking label has been made, if it is before 4:30 PM EST (1:00 on Sat.), it is already at the post office that day. If later in the day, it will be dropped off the next morning.

Most of my items come from yard sales, thrift stores, estate sales, etc. I try my best to test or examine everything, but I can't get to it all.
