Vintage BABY BASKET

1930'S Bassinet

SIZE: 30" Long x 11.5" tall x 16.3" across the top edge.

The lady that had this said it was hers when she was a baby. She's 77 years old as of October 2012. She did not know how old the basket was when she first used it. So, it's at least from 1935 or earlier. She said these type were used before the ones with legs, & they would place it between two chairs.

CONDITION: Looks very nice. It is very well made. It is still very solid, no loose trim. The handles are quite sturdy & both still swivel freely as designed. There are three holes as can be seen in the pics.
