For your consideration is a vintage huge amethyst rhinestone cocktail ring.  This ring has the large amethyst stone with 6 clear rhinestones 3 on each side.  It is marked 18K HGE on the band with a hallmark that looks like an "A" in a circle.  Amethyst measures almost 1" x 5/8".  Overall front is 3/4" wide.  It measures at between 8 1/2 and 8 1/2 in size.  Beautiful cocktail ring with no chips that I have seen.
