The Star of Umbria
by Delancey Howe Massachusetts: Fleet Company, 1928 First edition. Book is as new in a gold paper dust jacket with paper reinforcements on the verso and some edge wear and horizontal cracking to jacket spine. The dust jacket is enclosed in a Mylar jacket protector, so the jacket looks very good. This dust jacket is not price-clipped. On the front free endpaper, M. Walden of Chicago and June 1929 date is written. M. Walden was the founder of "Waldenbooks" years ago. Inside the book there is a map of the Kingdom of Umbria. It is scarce to encounter this book, and even scarcer to find one in its dust jacket. Very good plus to fine book in good to very good dust jacket, not price-clipped. Rare. First edition. |
