This green Coke bottle must have a fantastic story to tell.  Stamped S & I (in a circle), it probably originated from Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Evansville, IN sometime in the mid 1950's. Some glass manufacturers made bottles for hundreds of cities. Bottle is the classic hobble skirt shape and stands 8 in tall.  Surface does show wear to surface consistent to the time bottles were returned and refilled. Coca-Cola name is applied to surface in white. Lettering appears on both sides of the bottle.  Notice it features the "flat footed C". Bottle held 6.5 oz.
