LePere Pottery began its operation in 1936 on Glenwood Avenue in Zanesville, Ohio.  LePere is best known for its copper luster ware.  Much of LePere pottery is hand decorated, and many pieces are trimmed with gold.  This piece of LePere is a white piggy bank trimmed in gold.  It is in excellent condition and measures 5 1/2 inches long, approximately 2 1/2 inches wide, and approximately 3 inches tall.  It was pre-owned but not used by us since it was part of a collection.
