Here is a WONDERFUL, VINTAGE FISHER PRICE PEEK UP 'N PEEK #514 MERRY-GO-ROUND PUZZLE for your inspection. This puzzle consists of 12 pieces, six of which are equipped with a yellow peg. The pegs are designed to help little fingers easily remove the pieces from the puzzle. Manufactured between 1971-73, this puzzle was designed to resemble Fisher Price's Play Family #111 Merry-Go-Round toy.

This puzzle consists of both single and inter-locking pieces. Fisher Price states the puzzle was produced for 3-6 year old children. All of the pieces, when removed, have an underlying litho which coincides with the activities that typically occur in an amusement park. In my opinion, this puzzle is in EXC condition with only minor edge wear on a few of the puzzle pieces, a couple of minor scrapes on the surface paint (e.g. on the left hand base of the merry-go-round and on the boy's green cap), a barely perceptible chip under the horse's nostrils and a couple of bubbles/creases on some of the interior lithos. I know my description sounds horrible but I'm being super "nit-picky" here as I don't want anyone to be disappointed by their purchase from me.

This puzzle was produced in Belgium for Fisher Price Toys by the Quaker Oats Co. Most of these Merry-Go-Round puzzles were produced in Holland. This is the first I've seen that was manufactured in Belgium. There are a couple of light brown stains on the back of the puzzle. These, of course, do not detract from the function or appearance of the puzzle itself. This is a FANTASTIC puzzle for early language development, eye/hand coordination, and extending a child's attention span.

This solid wood puzzle exemplifies Fisher Price's reputation for durable, classic toys. The puzzle weighs 1 lb., 4 oz. UNWRAPPED and my location is Lafayette, IN (47905).

I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post) and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.

In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home or cell phone. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item.

Since Bonanza's shipping calculator does NOT offer Fed Ex Home Delivery as a shipping option, PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL I HAVE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO MANUALLY CHECK THESE RATES AND INSERT THEM INTO YOUR INVOICE. Otherwise, the shipping calculator may overcharge you.

Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required.
