VINTAGE / CLASSIC 1950's US CAR TAIL FIN CADILLAC? - PERSPEX SCROLL SAW ART An unusual retro Americana item, it's a perspex cut-out of a typical late 1950's tail fin automobile in good, used condition. The item is made of two layers of perspex -The bottom is gray-backed with the front bring mirrored / reflective. Detailing is achieved by using the thin scroll saw blade to cut profiles and door lines etc etc. The pictures uploaded were taken in natural daylight, outdoors, under a porch. One picture shows the effect of the mirrored perspex when lit up by the camera flash, so if you're pondering something dramatic for your Man Cave, this shows what is possible, with a bit of imagination. The top layer is in clear pink, allowing images to reflect back through the pink. The wheels are also clear, and in deep gray. The rear fender is clear and allows unobstructed. As far as condition goes, it's good / used - the perspex top layer has light surface marks. One gray wheel is missing. A red brake light section is missing. This appears to have been, originally, clear perspex, colored red. The top, sharp edge of the drivers side tail fin has a small chip at the end. All of these are fairly minor when you view the item, overall. Undated, could have been made at any point in the last few decades. Dimensions - 18" x 4.75", at furthest points. Photographs uploaded are of the actual item. Try and find another like it! Buy-It-Now, $34.99. Thanks for looking! Postage - US - Free postage...nice! :o)
