Vintage Wooden Nesting Dolls

I have searched hundreds of photos on the web, and auctions at other sites, and have yet to come across this particular style. Now I am not claiming that this is anything special, I am saying I myself have found none other like it.

Condition is very good. Surfaces have scratch/wear marks, a few stains, small chips in the paint. All doll halves are tight and have good connections. The second largest doll is a little more difficult to put back together. It will go, but it is tight. A person could lightly sand the edges to make it a bit easier to remove.

The doll sizes are: (in inches) 6 1/2 -- 5 1/2 -- 4 -- 3 3/4 -- 2 -- 1 1/2

I have seen where some nesting dolls have a knob on the top, these do not have nor do the appear to ever have had anything on top of the head.

I do not see any identifying marks on these, so I do not know how old they are. Judging by the paint wear I would say they are a vintage item.

Handling Time:

Items are normally mailed on day after payment is received. 

Returns: 

Items may be returned within 14 days for refund. Returned items must be in same condition as sold. Return postage is paid by the buyer.

It is buyers’ responsibility to read the complete auction and ask questions. If I agree to accept a returned item I will refund only the original bid and postage, not the return postage.

Combined Items:

I am happy to combine shipping on all items if box does not become overweight or oversized or items are very fragile.
