VANITY SHAVING MIRROR C. 1910 also Hangs on Wall
Not entirely sure of the period it was made,
Heavy Beveled Mirror seems older than Deco
I think this is antique, English.  The wood appears to be very smooth mahogany.  There is one solid piece of fine inlay wood holding in the mirror and it must have had to be steamed to get it to bend like this.  Fine craftsmanship.  The handle varnish and stain has worn down to the wood slightly from years of use.  There is some wear on the back: a ding and small scratches and rub wear.  There are two places about the size of a quarter where something got on the back of the mirror and slightly crackled the varnish you can zoom in to see it.

acquired this from an estate sale of a British/Dutch man in California.

One online antique dealer is selling a lot of 7 of similar mirrors for $275 each.   This mirror has no cracks, just wear on the back and the mirror is heavy, beveled and I can see fine scratch marks perpendicular to the center of the mirror all around, from where the bevel was cut and polished.  This is not pressed glass.  There are about 30 pin-hole sized black dots on the silvering but it is not noticeable.  There are six small scratches in the mirror face about 1/4 to 1/2" each and one thinner than a hair about 5 inches across the front but you have to use a magnifying glass to see it.
