Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Child's Bowl with Acid-Etched Fairies (#0808)
This adorable sterling silver child's bowl was made by Tiffany & Co. It features acid-etched fairies with flowers and mushrooms. It is monogrammed "J.L.M.C.B". It holds 1 pint and is marked with #17285B-6912 and a stylized "M" date mark for 1907-47. It measures 2 1/8" tall, 5" in diameter, and it weighs 8.62 ozt. It is in excellent condition.
Provenance: Given to John Lewis McCulloch Bell born in Marion, IN, on June 21st, 1913. Colonel John L. McCulloch (grandfather) was a very influential man in the city of Marion. He was president of the Marion National Bank, and has a street and school bearing his name.
